Job Description
Job Title:
Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Technician with a strong background in electrical engineering technology and manufacturing environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electromechanical products, ensuring the highest level of quality and reliability. Responsibilities + Assemble and test electromechanical products following detailed work instructions. + Troubleshoot small electromechanical products, processes, and test equipment. + Interpret engineering prints and schematics accurately. + Develop and interpret production documents such as work instructions and checklists. + Train production employees on safety, quality, and process standards. + Support safety and quality initiatives including 5S, ESD, and FOD. + Assist in process improvements to enhance product quality and efficiency. + Perform other related duties as required. Preferred Skills + Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or relevant technical degree. + 1-5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. + Experience with electromechanical products and mechanical assembly. + Proficiency in industrial panel wiring. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with precision instrumentation and complex electromechanical systems is preferred. + Proficiency in Solidworks and diagnostics. + Ability to work with schematics and develop work instructions. + Candidates with experience in defense or medical device industries are encouraged to apply. + Consideration for students able to work part or full time on contract. Work Environment The work environment is fast-paced and located in a clean manufacturing facility. The standard hours are 7 am - 4 pm, with overtime required at times. The company provides a 30-minute lunch break and small breaks throughout the day. Employees enjoy catered lunches daily. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
