Electronic Assembler•
State College, PA Shift:

11:00 AM•11:30 AM]) Electronic Assembler I is an entry-level assembler position performing a wide variety of mechanical assembly operations. Follows methods and sequence of operations in assembling cables, soldering, bonding, limited testing and manufacturing of transducers. Ability to follow procedures and drawings
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Acquire all established health and safety rules. Acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks and adherence to production plan schedule while producing high quality products to standards. Adhere to policy and procedures to maintain a safe and clean work environment. Work on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. Has little or no role in decision-making. Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. Work under close supervision. Act as champion of the company's Lean and Continuous Improvement programs. Time and attendance are in accordance with company policies, procedures and work area schedule. Complete work orders on schedule to ensure a constant flow of product and to maintain efficiencies. Ability to sit for an extended amount of time Ability to work under a microscope Hand soldering Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, work orders, procedures and follows verbal directions. Quality Oriented Computer literacy Prepare product components and fixtures for assembly. Performs bonding processes. Fabricate cable assemblies.
Attaching / Closing
process (hand soldering) Limited testing of products Performs routine hands-on assembly tasks in the manufacture of Eddy Current probes, Ultrasonic transducers or BondMaster sensors. Demonstrate basic understanding of Eddy Current, Ultrasonic or BondMaster inspection methods and its application in the sensor assembly process Evaluation of performance will be based on ability to: Produce quality products in accordance with standards. Meet established standard times for standard operations. Follow all applicable manufacturing procedures and documentation. Follow work order activities established via manufacturing reports. Accurately record labour time to all work order operations into the MRP system. Clean and maintain equipment (including tools and fixtures) Participate in the company's Lean and Continuous Improvement programs. Time and attendance (including the accurate reporting of time and attendance) Maintain work are 5s standards Work with Team members with mutual respect and understanding.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with hand soldering and using a microscope is a plus

$18.00•$22.00 per hour
