Job Description

RS Automation, INC. builds industrial control panels and wiring assemblies. RS Automation, INC. (RSA) is obligated to follow and enforce all guidelines according to ISO9001:2015 standards. Within this standard, we practice lean principles in striving for continuous improvement. It is important to RSA that we guide our employees and give them the tools to succeed based on the standards set forth for us. RSA is UL registered and must follow and enforce all guidelines pertaining to our current UL contracts. RSA's current contract is UL508A, Enclosed Industrial Control Panels. As an RSA employee, you are protected under OSHA guidelines. You will be subjected to wear Personal Protective Equipment under certain circumstances. We are committed to strictly upholding these standards.
Job Description:
Full-time Panel Builder Wage $25 -30, Depending on Experience Assembly of Electrical Control Panels, Junction Boxes, and wire harnesses. This position requires the use of customer and RSA supplied drawings and schematics or other standard procedures. This position is responsible for the physical assembly, wiring, and testing of control panels. Physical assembly includes fabrication of raw materials, mounting components to sub panels, wiring those components, mounting components to enclosures, wiring those components, and final assembly. Accurately and efficiently building full assemblies, subassemblies, wiring assemblies, control panels Completing First Article Inspections Reporting to Team Lead/Project Manager with questions, concerns, and/or status updates on production Using torque and non-torque screwdrivers, socket wrenches, and drills, voltmeters, multimeters, personal protective equipment, computers, printers, etc. Maintaining clean and organized workspace Preparing for next production day Other duties/projects as assigned
Requirements:
Demonstrates basic understanding of electricity Willing to learn or knows how to read electrical schematics, guidelines of UL standards, aesthetics of wiring, and understanding of the National Electric Code Experience with basic tooling and power tools Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing Experience with Microsoft Office Attention to detail Good organizational skills Work Schedule is Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30
