Level I - PCB Solderer/Electronic Assembler 951 Monocacy Road, York, PA 17404 Full-time Full-time Company Overview EMSG is a leading provider of electronic manufacturing services dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions for a diverse range of clients. Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Level I - PCB Solderer/Electronic Assembler to join our dynamic team. Requirements Soldering skills are required for through-hole and surface mount components. Must be capable of soldering to acceptable IPC-A-610, Class 2 standards. Must have beginning knowledge of electronics and components. Must be able to distinguish between IPC acceptable and non-conforming product, per IPC-A-610, Class 2. Demonstrate ability to remove and replace basic through-hole and surface mount components with 2-3 leads. Must be able to read and comprehend drawings, bills of material, and other provided product information. Must show ability to follow instruction well and, with the use of learned skills and reason, complete assigned work accurately within a reasonable time, with normal supervision. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Must be capable of hand assembly. May be required to use hand tools and power tools. Job assembly may require standing or sitting. May be asked to assist with assembly in other departments. Will be required to pass four exams subsequent to training - Hand Soldering for Through-Hole Components , Soldering Iron Tip Care , Seven Sins of Hand Soldering, and ESD Anti-Static Procedures . Must score 75% or higher on all tests. The PCB Solderer - Level I will report to the Production Manager.
