Mechanical & Electrical Assembler Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical & Electrical Assembler who will be responsible for constructing frames, sub-assemblies, cooling systems, and enclosure components using both hand and power tools. The role also involves installing mechanical hardware, busbars, brackets, cable trays, and structural components in line with engineering drawings and build instructions. Responsibilities Perform alignment of mechanical parts. Follow electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Route, cut, strip, crimp, and terminate wires and harnesses. Install electrical components and troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues. Document results and communicate issues to engineering or project leads. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions accurately. Conduct in-process quality inspections to ensure assembly meets all standards. Work off a tablet to find job orders. Lift up to 50 lbs as needed. Essential Skills Proficiency in assembly, electrical, and mechanical tasks. Experience with hand and power tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Knowledge of wiring, crimping, and electrical components. Strong troubleshooting skills for both mechanical and electrical issues. Competence in using computer data entry for documentation purposes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with mechanical and electronic assembly. Familiarity with control panels and circuit boards. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role operates on a schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM across two locations: one in Simpsonville and another in Fountain Inn off Southchase Blvd. The work environment involves using a variety of tools and equipment, and it requires adherence to safety standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simpsonville, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
