Travel Radiation Therapist in Simpsonville, SC

Category Radiation Therapy - Radiation Therapist Job Type Travel Seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for a contract opportunity. This position requires a solid background in radiation therapy, proven clinical competence, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic medical environment.

Schedule:

Day shift, Monday through Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Five 8-hour shifts per week

Qualifications:

Active ARRT (T) certification and BLS required SCRQSA license (South Carolina) required Minimum of 1 year of hands-on EPIC experience in clinical settings At least one year of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist Strong attention to patient safety and adherence to protocols Willingness to be considered as a first-time traveler if background aligns with requirements

Role Responsibilities:

Accurately deliver radiation treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists Operate and maintain sophisticated radiation therapy equipment in accordance with established protocols Verify patient identity and treatment site, prepare equipment, and ensure proper patient positioning Document treatment details and progress accurately in the EPIC system Monitor patients during procedures, observing for adverse reactions or complications Collaborate closely with radiation oncologists, nurses, and other care team members Maintain confidentiality and comply with all facility procedures and safety guidelines
