Job Description

Our client, a leading organization in electrical assembly and manufacturing, is seeking a Cable Harness Technician to join their team. As a Cable Harness Technician, you will be part of the production support team supporting engineering and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

  • What's the Job?
  • + Perform electrical assembly of components and systems by following engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and written specifications (repetitive assembly work).

+ Use soldering irons, crimpers, and other hand tools to assemble and install electrical components, including both crimp-style and solder‑type connectors.

+ Build and assemble custom cable harnesses following

IPC/WHMA

‑A‑620 standards for quality and workmanship.

+ Inspect and test completed harnesses to verify electrical integrity, correct pinouts, and mechanical durability.

+ Work closely with engineers and production teams to ensure all harnesses meet quality, durability, and performance standards.

  • What's Needed?
  • + Prior hands-on experience in electrical assembly, cable harness building, or wiring work.

+ Prior soldering (through-hole or connector) and crimping experience is required.

+ Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and basic engineering drawings.

+ Familiarity with

IPC/WHMA

‑A‑620 standards (certification is a plus). + Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
