Title:
Switchgear Assembler•
LV Location:
East Dallas, TX (West of Mesquite)
Contract-to-Hire Shift:
1st Shift (6:00 AM•2:30 PM)
Compensation:
$20•21/hr
Overview:
We are seeking motivated and hands-on Low Voltage Switchgear Assemblers to join a growing manufacturing team supporting power distribution and protection systems. This role is responsible for assembling switchgear cabinets and electrical components in a fast-paced production environment using hand tools, power tools, and wiring techniques. Candidates should be comfortable working in a large manufacturing facility, performing mechanical assembly tasks, and supporting production ramp-up efforts. This is a great opportunity for candidates looking to grow within electrical manufacturing and assembly.
Job Duties:
Assemble switchgear cabinets and enclosure components according to specifications and work instructionsUse hand and power tools, including drills, impacts, torque wrenches, grinders, and screwdriversPerform basic wiring and electrical assembly tasksRead and follow blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawingsConduct quality inspections and identify defects or issuesMaintain a clean and safe work environmentSupport production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing settingFollow all PPE and safety requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred0-2 years of assembly, manufacturing, or electrical assembly experienceExperience using hand tools and power toolsMechanical aptitude and comfort with wiring tasksAbility to read blueprints and schematics preferredStrong attention to detail and qualityAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbsMust be able to pass a background check and drug testMust be able to start immediatelyQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation,
