Summary QwikCut is looking for a hands-on Electrical Harness Assembly Technician to join our AI camera production team. This position is responsible for building, wiring, soldering, inspecting, and testing the electrical harnesses and connections used in our AI camera systems. We're looking for someone who is good with their hands, comfortable working with small electrical components, and takes pride in accurate, consistent work. Responsibilities Build wiring harnesses according to drawings, pinouts, and assembly instructions Cut, strip, crimp, solder, terminate, route, and label wiring Assemble Molex and other small electrical connectors and terminals Build low-voltage power, Ethernet, camera, GPIO, and peripheral connections Inspect wiring, crimps, solder joints, connectors, and terminals for quality Perform continuity and basic electrical testing with a multimeter Troubleshoot and repair wiring or assembly issues Work with engineering and production on new builds and design changes Maintain a clean and organized assembly workstation Requirements Experience with soldering, wiring, electrical assembly, or similar hands-on work Comfortable using wire strippers, crimpers, soldering equipment, multimeters, and basic hand tools Ability to read basic wiring diagrams, pinouts, and assembly instructions Strong attention to detail and good hand dexterity Ability to perform repetitive precision work consistently Dependable and able to work on-site in Dripping Springs, TX Experience with wire harnesses, electronics assembly, automotive wiring, robotics, cameras, low-voltage systems, Molex connectors, or Ethernet cabling is a plus.
IPC/WHMA
certification is a plus but not required. What Success Looks Like Correct the first time. Consistent. Electrically tested. Reliable. Ready for installation. Accuracy and quality are more important than simply working fast.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
