Panel Build Technician, Power Distribution Siemens SI - North America Fort Worth, TX Job Details $17.50 - $21.00 an hour 2 days ago Qualifications Computer literacy Full Job Description Can you turn a blueprint into a finished power panel? If the answer is yes, come join our 1st Shift crew in Fort Worth, TX. You'll own builds from scan-in to ship-out—assembling low-voltage switchgear, switchboards, and power panels that meet exacting specs.
Hourly Rate:
$17.50 - $21.00 What you'll tackle Use computers and scanners to process work orders in alignment with the production schedule and expedited needs. Decode one-line diagrams, bills of materials, and blueprints to plan and execute each assembly. Pull parts and accessories; build subassemblies and complete units using hand/power tools, wire strippers, pliers, and crimpers. Prepare completed equipment for shipment with careful packing, sealing, and labeling. Mount and secure components to frames; verify every unit meets specification, tolerance, and customer order requirements. Disassemble as needed to adjust or replace parts; connect basic wires and cables; tag and mark units; report non-conforming items. Contribute to other tasks as directed by Supervision. What helps you succeed Comfort with basic computer operations and mechanical/measuring tools. Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English. Physical demands Skilled hand/arm coordination; ability to stoop, bend, squat, crawl, and climb. Reach, grasp, lift up to 75 lbs , and push/pull/slide heavy materials when needed. Preferred background High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Assembly or wiring experience. Your toolkit Mechanical Assembly Skills High School / GED Work Authorization Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
