Pre-Fab Associate Prime Controls - 4.1 Lewisville, TX Job Details Full-time 1 hour ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description The Pre-Fab Associate supports the production of industrial control panels by preparing and assembling mechanical and electrical components prior to final assembly. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and basic electrical knowledge. The associate will assist in building subassemblies, mounting devices, cutting and preparing wire, and ensuring components are ready for panel wiring and assembly. A Typical Day at Prime Controls Mount electrical components (e.g., relays, terminal blocks, circuit breakers, contractors) to back panels or enclosures following layout prints. Measure, cut, and label wire per job requirements. Proficient in reading and interpreting basic work instructions. Experience with Electrical schematics and mechanical drawings is a plus. Operate basic shop tools including drills, saws, crimpers, strippers, and torque drivers. Organize and stage components and hardware for upcoming jobs. Perform quality checks on fabricated parts and report issues or discrepancies. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company standards. Support continuous improvement efforts in safety, efficiency, and quality. Collaborate with wiring and assembly teams to meet project deadlines. What You Will Bring The Basic High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience in a mechanical or electrical assembly role preferred. Familiarity with hand tools and light power tools. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail. The Preferred Experience in control panel manufacturing or electrical/mechanical fabrication environment. Forklift or pallet jack experience (a plus but not required).
