In this role, you will be responsible for assembling complex electrical wiring harnesses used in a variety of industrial and commercial applications. Your expertise will ensure that each harness meets strict quality standards and technical specifications, contributing to the overall success of our production processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and develop your skills in electrical assembly and manufacturing. Duties Assemble wire harnesses according to detailed schematics, technical drawings, and IPC 620 standards for electronic assemblies. Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to cut, strip, crimp, splice, terminate, solder, and connect wires and components accurately. Interpret wiring diagrams, bill of materials, wiring tables, and other paperwork. Maintain quality standards and verify each step of the process. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols for soldering, electrical wiring, and mechanical assembly. Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures. Collaborate with leadership to ensure efficient workflow, and inventory management. Qualifications Proven experience in manufacturing or electrical assembly environments with a focus on wire harnesses or similar products. Strong understanding of technical drawings and wiring diagrams. IPC 620 or WHMA Certification. Familiar with soldering techniques. Comfortable using all kinds of hand tools including crimpers. Mechanical knowledge related to machining processes and the use of power tools for assembly tasks. Understanding of electrical components, practices, and materials. Excellent fine motor skills. Problem solving skills and self motivated. This role requires the physical ability to: lift 40lbs occasionally see all colors stand for extended periods work in hot and humid warehouse environments up to 50% month
Pay:
$16.00 - $17.50 per hour
