Must achieve production and costs goals while meeting high quality standards, while providing a safe environment. Involved with strategic planning and analyzing technical process developments. Qualified candidate will have relevant Bachelor's degree, 5-8 years experience with electronics assembly or manufacturing process and 2-3 years leadership role.
Position Responsibilities:
Work closely with project sponsors in Taiwan to establish an assembly, test, burn-in chamber and packaging line in Texas. Help identify proper operators to staff assembly and testing line. Defines budget and scheduling; tracks budget achievements and costs. Contributes to development of implementation strategies. Leads assembly operations team members in line with company culture, values and guidelines. Oversees development and implementation of new production technologies and ensures continued process improvements. Ensures compliance with relevant safety regulations. Maintains high quality standards. Responsible for parts and inventory management. Meets with Taiwan team on regular basis to update progress, trouble shoot issues and strategy sessions. Oversees document control, materials management, safety and process certifications. KPI's Include but are not limited to: Timely completion of assembly operation Acceptance rate of finished goods Meeting unit per month output goals Meeting cost per unit goals Overall labor effectiveness Maintaining and improving cycle time process Employee safety rate
Candidate Qualifications:
Must have strong English verbal and written communication skills. Mandarin a strong plus! Minimal travel, if required Need strong attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Considers safety in all aspects of assigned work Ambitious, analytical, goal and results driven Synergistic team approach Highly motivated, ambitious and a strong desire to succeed High integrity, accountable and reliable Ability to work to tight time schedules and demonstrate initiative Very strong team player, able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment Customer service oriented High-quality networking and interpersonal skill Relevant Bachelor's degree 5-8 years experience with electronics assembly or manufacturing process 2-3 years leadership role
