LifeAtDPC Summary:

Under the direction of the Panel Supervisor, the Panel assembler will work with various functions throughout the business to assemble panels. This will include prepping, wiring, and final assembly.

Essential Duties:

Read, use, and understand electrical/ mechanical schematic drawings. Responsible for producing high-quality electrical products. Fits, files, drills, and assembles junction boxes and panels, or performs a wide variety of diversified and difficult electrical assemblies. Assembles, in a predetermined order, electrical components, terminals, and push buttons. Cuts, strips, and mounts wires to connect electrical units. Closing job orders daily for the assigned value stream

Qualifications:

Education Preferred

• High school diploma or General Educational Diploma (GED) Be able to read, write, and speak English fluently Experience Two years of minimum manufacturing experience Ability to perform basic math, including the use of calculators 1 year of electronic assembly Skills & Abilities Experience with using a computer and or ability to learn basic usage of Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook Experience wiring electrical panels, instrumentation, and devices / point-to-point testing.

Ability to work from detailed schematics, wire lists, bill of materials, engineering drawings, and documentation. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00-3:30 pm or 3:30-12:00 am. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
