Full Job Description Overview Schedule:

Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM The Control Panel Technician at Quality Electrical Systems (QES) is responsible for the hands-on assembly, wiring, and quality inspection of control panels used in industrial automation systems. This role requires a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined individual with a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to interpret schematics. The position supports day shift operations and plays a key role in delivering high-quality products in a manufacturing environment. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Interpret and work from electrical schematics, engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and bills of materials Assemble and wire control panels according to specifications and quality standards Cut, strip, crimp, and wire gauges ranging from 26 AWG to 12 AWG Mount electrical components including relays, switches, terminal blocks, and circuit breakers Fabricate and modify control panel enclosures using hand and power tools Apply proper torque using appropriate tools to secure all components Perform rework or corrections as directed by the Quality Control (QC) Technician Conduct basic QC testing of panels to verify functionality and compliance with design requirements ________________________________________ Knowledge and Experience Requirements Basic to advanced knowledge of electrical systems and components Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering documentation Mechanical aptitude and assembly experience in a shop, warehouse, or manufacturing setting Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards Excellent organizational and communication skills

Preferred:
