Job Title:
Electronics Assembler Job Description The Electronics Assembler works closely with Engineers, Project Managers, and the Quality Assurance Manager to support the production of high-quality electronic and mechanical assemblies. This role is responsible for assembling components, fabricating parts, and ensuring all work meets established specifications and industry standards. Responsibilities Perform electronic and mechanical assembly of components, units, and printed circuit boards according to specifications and work instructions. Install components and subassemblies using proper techniques and established procedures. Utilize electronic, hand, power, and pneumatic tools safely and effectively. Fabricate parts, cables, and test fixtures as required to support production and testing activities. Work directly with Engineers, Project Managers, and the Quality Assurance Manager to support project needs and resolve technical issues. Communicate effectively across departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of assignments. Read and interpret technical drawings, datasheets, schematics, and written work instructions. Maintain accurate documentation related to assembly tasks, materials used, and work performed. Essential Skills High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of electronics assembly experience. Proficient computer and typing skills, including experience with Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and assignments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience using hand tools and small power tools. Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in PCB assembly, electronic assembly, and mechanical assembly. Experience with cabling, harness assembly, and test equipment. Familiarity with oscilloscopes and microscopes. Work Environment The position is based in a brand new testing lab, located in the Seven Corners area. The work environment is collaborative and supportive, with opportunities for career advancement. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Falls Church, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
