Job Description

The Assembler Level 2 performs mechanical and electrical assembly work with limited supervision, including subassemblies and moderately complex builds. This role requires intermediate-level skills in reading drawings, interpreting work instructions, and ensuring assemblies meet quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assemble parts, subassemblies, and moderately complex products with minimal supervision.
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and bills of materials independently.
  • Perform inspections to endure assemblies meet specifications.
  • Identify and report issues in materials, components, or instructions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and update production records.
Train and assist Level 1 Assemblers. Suggest improvements in work methods, sequencing, or ergonomics. Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
One (1) year of experience assembling equipment in a production manufacturing environment with a High School Diploma/general education degree (GED) required. Competence with hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices - and having mechanical aptitude is a must. Ability to work independently and problem-solve routine issues. Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team is necessary.
