If you enjoy working with tools, reading schematics, troubleshooting problems, and seeing a finished product come together, this is the opportunity for you! 🛠️ What You'll Do As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you'll play a vital role in building and testing equipment from start to finish in a clean, modern manufacturing environment. ✅ Perform complete mechanical and electrical assembly using hand and power tools ✅ Read and interpret schematics, wire diagrams, blueprints, and service manuals ✅ Layout, build, and wire control panels ✅ Assemble conveyors, install motors, and build panel boards ✅ Install wiring, terminals, electrical components, jump fuses, and panels ✅ Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems to identify and resolve issues ✅ Repair and replace components as needed ✅ Complete both repetitive assembly tasks and complex custom builds ✅ Enter production data and utilize computer systems for documentation ✅ Support warehouse, packaging, and other production-related activities as needed 🎯 What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Knowledge of electrical wiring and mechanical assembly techniques Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and data entry Preferred Qualifications Experience building control panels and electrical systems Familiarity with software beyond Microsoft Office Automotive repair, diagnostics, inspection, or maintenance experience Understanding of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting principles Strong attention to detail and quality standards Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
