Electromechanical Assembler

Electromechanical Assembler Job Description Join a growing manufacturing team building electromechanical systems used in U.S. Navy programs. We're looking for dependable candidates with any hands‑on experience in assembly, wiring, cable building, mechanical assembly, or electronics work . If you've used hand tools, followed work instructions, or built mechanical or electrical components, you're encouraged to apply . You'll help assemble cable harnesses, electronic boxes, circuit boards, and multi‑rack systems while working from clear instructions, diagrams, and schematics. Experience with crimping, stripping, wiring, or soldering is a plus — but we're open to training motivated individuals with the right mechanical aptitude. Responsibilities Assemble electromechanical components, interface devices, and system racks Build and route cable harnesses (stripping, crimping, terminating) Perform light soldering (through‑hole or SMT) Install wiring, connectors, and instrumentation into enclosures Follow schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and written instructions Support basic system testing and verification Use automated continuity/harness test equipment (DIT‑MCO or similar) Inspect work to IPC‑A‑610 quality standards Use measurement tools (calipers, multimeters, ohmmeters) Document build steps and note any issues What We're Looking For Experience in assembly, wiring, cable harnessing, mechanical assembly, or electronics assembly Ability to read and follow diagrams, schematics, or work instructions Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, crimpers, and strippers Basic understanding of electrical concepts (continuity, polarity, wiring standards) Strong attention to detail and quality Preferred (Not Required) Experience with DIT‑MCO or similar test systems Through‑hole or surface‑mount soldering Experience in defense, aerospace, or high‑reliability manufacturing Familiarity with instrumentation or multi‑rack system builds Why You'll Love Working Here Woman‑Owned Small Business with a strong reputation Stable, long‑term work supporting defense, federal, and commercial customers Clean, organized, and safety‑focused environment Supportive team culture with opportunities to learn new skills Work that directly contributes to meaningful, high‑impact programs Work Environment You'll work in a clean, well‑organized production area with a team that values accuracy, teamwork, and craftsmanship. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
