Job Description

Job Description The Assembler is a skilled manufacturing professional who works with minimal supervision to assemble, test, inspect, and rework Crane Aerospace & Electronics products in accordance with military and other applicable standards. This role includes preparing and inspecting components, operating production equipment, interpreting drawings and work instructions, and ensuring product quality through visual and dimensional inspection. The Assembler partners across the value stream to resolve quality issues, support production priorities, complete required documentation, and participate in safety, training, and continuous improvement initiatives. Flexibility to cross‑train, support audits, maintain inventory accuracy, and work overtime as needed is required.   • 3+ years of small‑component assembly experience in a high‑volume manufacturing environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current or prior IPC soldering certification
  • Working knowledge of raw materials, chemicals, and production processes
  • Experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing or repair environment, with familiarity using computer‑based systems and understanding product flow Hands‑on experience working with microscopes, cleanrooms, and soldering environments
  • Experience with part marking, wrapping, packaging, and transporting finished goods between work areas
  • Ability to accurately complete documentation and close work orders
  • Ability to interpret drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions to determine sequencing and installation requirements Experience maintaining equipment in compliance with strict calibration schedules
