Assembly Technician Direct Placement Pay:

Monday•Friday, 3:30 PM•2:00 AM Key Responsibilities Assemble electrical sub-assemblies, battery cell modules, solar modules, and solar arrays Perform mechanical and electrical assembly of satellite components, subassemblies, and full vehicle systems Install PCB assemblies into product chassis Wire harnessing and solder/desolder SMT and through-hole components Support conformal coating, masking, and epoxy application Conduct functional testing of built hardware — setup, instrumentation, execution, and teardown Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain complex automated equipment Set up and support tests across multiple regimes: thermal, shock, vibration, and thermal vacuum Support prototype test development for spacecraft components and life tests Assist with installation and implementation of test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems Maintain and calibrate lab equipment; track calibration schedules Perform preventative maintenance on test and data acquisition equipment Identify testing needs, maintain consumables inventory, and help develop procedures Manage workload priorities and independently execute tasks to meet deadlines Required Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude Must be available to work overtime High school diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of experience in electromechanical or mechanical assembly and integration Proficiency in wire harnessing, sub-assembly work, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation Knowledge of electrical wiring standards, IPC-610, IPC-620, J-STD, and soldering practices Experience in electromechanical, precision, or high-volume manufacturing environments IPC and/or J-STD certifications Experience with prototype assembly and test execution Soldering experience Why Join Us?
