Electric Panel Wiring Specialist Educated Solutions Corp - 3.6 Germantown, WI Job Details Full-time $24 - $27 an hour 20 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Qualifications Electrical cable pulling Electrical control panels Assembly wiring Performing background checks Electrical control system maintenance Full Job Description Our client, a manufacturing company specializing in scrap and waste handling systems, is seeking to hire an Electric Panel Wiring Specialist to assist in high workload for this manufacturing company of scrap and waste handling systems. This key role will ensure systems are wired properly, up to code, and deliver customer satisfaction in the production of finalized shredding and trim handling systems. It involves building and wiring electrical panels as well as doing hardwiring and conduit work directly on the machines in a manufacturing setting. This contract role is located in Germantown, WI, works a 6:30am-3pm M-F schedule, pays in the $24-$27 per hour range, based on experience , aspires to a full time role, with increased compensation and a full benefit plan. The core of this business is creating bigger and better ways to destroy waste and move it out of an industrial setting. The current staff of 31 includes ownership, office, and the shop floor. In this role, duties will include pulling cable through panel systems, wiring and testing electric systems and augmentation of core products to meet customer specifications. The incumbent in this role will work on Allen Bradley and Square D controls on the shop floor and work with a team of engineers, sales and general labor staff to troubleshoot problems, assess situations, and fix issues related to electric panels and wiring. The goal of this role is to become the "go to" specialist in relation to all things electric for this key client.
The incumbent will:
Wire electrical panels in the creation of customized machines. Test customer returned motors as part of the repair/refurbishment department. Run conduit and wire within client's machinery. Test to the component level, troubleshoot and repair electric wiring. Work with experienced engineers, sales staff and peer shop floor personnel to deliver customer and product based solutions. Work with connected motor control circuits - Programmable Logic Controls (PLC). Work under UL Panel standards and specifications. Become the subject matter expert of all Electric panels. Qualifications 2-5 years of experience working with electric panels and wiring. Some knowledge and experience working with PLC, UL Panel standards, and motor control circuits - Knowledge of NR12 and CE requirements preferred Past experience working with Allen Bradley or Square D controls is highly preferred. Ability to work a full time (40 hour) hourly role in Germantown, WI Ability to pass standard drug screen and background check.Pay:
