MUST HAVE
Current certifications in IPC/WHMA-A-620 and certification in
J-STD-001.
Mechanical Assembler to join a leading Company located in the Huntsville, AL surrounding area. US Citizenship is required.
Pay:
$18 - 27/hr based on experience
Schedule:
2 nd shift 4 pm - 12:30 am;
Mon-Fri Responsibilities :
Build, troubleshoot, and repair cable assemblies. Working knowledge and use of tools used for cable manufacturing (strippers, crimpers, solder iron). Interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and technical specifications. Candidates must have experience working with design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and other technicians to develop a strategy and identify any problems that could occur during assembly. Perform basic troubleshooting to find faults in signal and connectivity issues.
Basic Hiring Criteria :
High school diploma or equivalent with 1 to 3 years (or more) of experience in cable building and/or electrical/mechanical assembly. Working knowledge of specialized tools (Crimpers, wire strippers) and equipment used during the cable assembly process. Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain a Secret Clearance. Current certification in
IPC/WHMA-A-620.
Current certification in
J-STD-001.
Desired Qualifications :
Current certification in
IPC/WHMA-A-620
with space addendum. Current certification in
J-STD-001
with space addendum.
