Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Assembly is the part of the production process that is critical to the structural integrity of the boat. This operation assembles and installs the various parts of the boat using adhesives and mechanical fasteners.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Builds and installs locks, hinges, rub rails, carpet, trim, and various other boat components. Moves boats through production line with assistance from other assemblers. Performs maintenance and general housekeeping. Installs wiring harnesses.
ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Degree Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
Ability and skill to properly use hand tools, air tools, cordless drills, etc. Basic mathematical skills Able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT
: Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
