How you will be rewarded as a Mechanical Assembler Monday-Thursday work week working four 10-hour days Off on Fridays Generous paid time off and Holiday Pay Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance 401(K), employee assistance programs, flexible spending account Primary Responsibilities of a Mechanical Assembler Places parts in specific relationship to each other with extreme accuracy Operates and tends automatic and manual processing equipment Uses a variety of hand and power tools, jigs and fixtures Works at different workstations as production needs require Performs general daily housekeeping and cleaning of equipment and area to ensure a safe working condition for all employees Performs general maintenance of equipment as required Ability to recognize and report all operational variances as trained Experience Required to be a Mechanical Assembler High School diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required Experience in manufacturing, assembly, and packaging preferred Ability to obtain/maintain BATF approval to work with our products Required Skills as a Mechanical Assembler Ability to accurately read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals Ability to be at work on time and on a consistent basis Excellent team interaction and communication is a priority for this role Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including the movement of materials weighing 5-50 lbs Ability to obtain BATF approval to engage in certain explosive operations •Note•: Due to US Export Control laws and regulations; applicants selected for employment must show proof of a U.S. Person status before employment may begin.
