We are searching for one adept Mechanical Assembler to join our Elevator Controls team at Vantage Elevation. Requirements We are searching for a candidate with: Experience with hand tools such as power screwdrivers, hammer, drills and saws Experience with electronic and pneumatic tooling Forklift and pallet jack certified or the ability to become certified Ability to load, unload and drive company vehicles safely Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Attention to detail Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to follow company policies and procedures Excellent Attendance Familiarity with schematic diagrams is helpful Any electrical experience is a plus Ability to lift and handle objects up to 50 lbs. as required. Basic knowledge of inventory management and cycle counting. Duties and Responsibilities A typical day may include: Assist in setting up new building production floor under the supervision of the Continuous Improvement Leader. Uses proper PPE as required (safety shoes, safety glasses, face mask, hard hat, etc...) Assemble mechanical parts, components, and systems following engineering drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions. Inspect components and assemblies for defects and ensure they meet quality standards. Perform functional tests to verify proper assembly and operation of assemblies. Provide input to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality. Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble and assemble equipment, shelving, material pallets, etc.. Uses proper PPE as required (safety shoes, safety glasses, face mask, back support, etc...
