Summary:

We are looking for one mechanically skilled temporary worker to help assemble NPT threaded pipe fittings, valves, and related components on industrial equipment. The full project will involve around 400 threaded connections.

Responsibilities:

Assemble NPT fittings efficiently and accurately according to specifications. Apply specified thread sealants (PTFE tape and pipe dope) correctly to ensure leak-free connections. Inspect threads for damage, contamination, cross-threading, or galling before assembly Assist with inspection and leak testing as directed Keep parts and work area clean and organized Ask before forcing parts, backing off fittings for alignment, or improvising

Desired Experience:

Prior NPT threaded fitting assembly with PTFE tape and pipe dope Pipefitter-helper, hydraulic, pneumatic, process-piping, industrial maintenance, or machine-assembly experience Understanding of tapered pipe threads and how to make a proper seal without over-torquing Requirements Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision once given instructions. High attention to detail to ensure quality control across a high volume of repetitive assemblies.
