Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (occasional Saturdays) Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Mechanical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble, test, and troubleshoot vacuum pump systems in a clean, temperature-controlled facility. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals with experience using hand tools, mechanical assembly techniques, and blueprint reading . Key Responsibilities Assemble vacuum pump systems at floor and abatement stations Test and calibrate components to meet tight tolerances and product specifications Use hand tools and power tools to build mechanical assemblies Inspect finished units and identify defects or failures Troubleshoot and repair assemblies that do not meet quality standards Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED 2-5 years of mechanical assembly or related experience Ability to pass a mechanical aptitude test Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic math skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with blueprint and schematic reading Background in plumbing, pipe fitting, or mechanical assembly Familiarity with drilling, tapping, wiring, pipe bending, or cable assembly Apprenticeship or formal technical training ASE certification (a plus) Why Join Us? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colorado Springs, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
