Hiring for Mechanical Assembler in Atlanta, GA paying $24 to $32 per hour Job Description This role focuses on assembling small drones and related components with precision and care. You will work with small parts and tight tolerances, follow detailed procedures, and perform quality checks to ensure each unit meets rigorous standards. The position offers both first and second shift options in a clean, climate-controlled environment. Responsibilities Assemble small drones using a variety of hand tools while following detailed work instructions. Build and integrate small parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies that require working with tight tolerances. Conduct thorough quality checks on parts and completed assemblies to ensure proper fit, function, and compliance with specifications. Follow detailed checklists and standardized procedures to maintain consistent quality standards throughout the assembly process. Use measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances. Apply knowledge of FOD (Foreign Object Debris/Damage) prevention to maintain a safe and clean assembly area. Collaborate with team members and support personnel to troubleshoot basic assembly issues and ensure smooth workflow. Document work performed in computer systems, including ERP and standard office software, as required by production and quality processes. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
