Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Assembly-2nd Shift technician, where your mechanical skills and attention to detail will drive the production of high-quality products. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing precision measurement instruments and hand tools to assemble components accurately. You will be a vital part of the manufacturing process, ensuring that all assemblies meet strict quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. Responsibilities Assemble products and components according to detailed schematics, blueprints, and work instructions. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify dimensions and ensure quality standards are met. Operate power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, soldering stations, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide assembly processes. Conduct routine inspections of assembled parts using precision measuring instruments to maintain high quality standards. Support fabrication tasks including welding, machining, and fabricating parts as needed for assembly. Maintain a clean and organized workspace in the warehouse or manufacturing area; assist with inventory management and material handling using forklifts when necessary. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing or assembly environments. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings. Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments. Experience operating hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering stations, and fabrication machinery. Ability to read technical documents accurately and follow detailed instructions. Warehouse experience is a plus, especially familiarity with forklift operation. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control during assembly processes. Prior experience in machining or fabrication is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
