In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and verifying mechanical components and systems according to detailed specifications and technical drawings. Your expertise will ensure that products meet quality standards and operational requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with measuring instruments, and the ability to interpret schematics and blueprints. This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to precise manufacturing processes within a dynamic industrial environment. This role requires the safe and effective use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to ensure products are built accurately and efficiently.
Shift:
Mon-Fri 5:30am-2:00pm (Overtime will work till 4:00pm and on Saturdays 5:30am-11:30amAS NEEDED
)Pay Rate:
$18.00-$20.00/hr Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components, assemblies, and systems according to specifications and blueprints. Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, socket sets, pliers, Allen keys, and torque wrenches. Operate power tools include electric screwdrivers, drills, impact drivers, grinders, and other assembly equipment. Verify proper fit, alignment, and functionality of assembled components. Inspect finished assemblies to ensure quality standards and customer requirements are met. Identify and report defective materials, equipment issues, or assembly discrepancies. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing processes. Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and goals. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred. Experience using a variety of hand tools and power tools. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday. Frequently lift and move materials up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
