Assembler/Machine Operator Wage:
$17/hour + 1.50 shift differential ($18.50/hour)

3pm-12am QPS Employment Group is looking for talented individuals to join a team in Bartlett in a 2nd shift Assembler/Machine Operator roles. In this role, you will play a vital role in producing high quality equipment using machines and other tools. This is an associate to hire opportunity. Assembler/Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assemble mechanical and electromechanical components following work instructions, drawings, and specifications
  • Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Solder small electrical components to ensure proper connections
  • Use hand tools such as wire cutters, crimpers, and scissors as needed for assembly tasks
  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to standards
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and report equipment issues or process concerns to supervision
  • Maintain accurate documentation of production and quality data
  • Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations, including wearing PPE such as safety glasses and closed-toe shoes
  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe to promote a productive environment
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
Assembler/Machine Operator Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, assembly, or machine operation preferred
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and diagrams
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Capable of lifting up to 20-30 pounds as needed
  • Reliability, good attendance, and a strong work ethic
  • Preferred experience with machinery operation or soldering
  • Preferred proficiency with hand tools and measurement devices
  • Preferred background in electrical assemblies, controls, or industrial manufacturing
  • Preferred knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles
  • Manufacturing/production floor with noise and machinery
  • Use of PPE including safety glasses and closed-toe shoes required
  • Climate-controlled facility to ensure comfort during shifts
