Job Description

1st- 6:00am-2:30pm Mon-Fri $16.75
Position Summary:
The Heavy Assembler II safely and efficiently assembles non-powered and powered hydraulic, lube oil, and diesel fuel filtration systems. This role builds on the Heavy Assembler I foundation by performing advanced machining, testing, and complex assembly tasks to meet high-specification customer requirements. Heavy Assemblers II use engineering drawings, machining tools, and testing procedures to deliver high-quality filtration systems that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Role Responsibilities:
Interpret assembly drawings to manufacture small housings and large filtration systems. Interpret simple electrical schematics to wire powered filtration systems. Perform functional testing of powered filtration systems per customer specifications. Form and bend metal tubing according to specifications. Use basic hand tools and measurement devices (e.g., tape measure, digital calipers) to ensure dimensional accuracy. Identify thread sizing and apply basic plumbing skills. Operate PC, blueprints, hand tools, crane, forklift, and other powered industrial equipment. Meet quality expectations, inspect work for conformance, and complete Shop Tags. Segregate nonconforming material and notify supervisor. Pack completed systems for shipment and maintain a clean, organized work area. Comply with all EHS and PPE requirements. Heavy Assembler II:
Perform machining operations using both mill and lathe equipment. Complete wet testing for equipment requiring PM 1 and pump spring settings. Complete wet testing for coalescing filtration equipment. Assemble and validate explosion-proof units. Execute mock-up builds to validate fit, function, and manufacturability. #Anderson
