Position Summary The Mechanical Assembler builds, fits, and integrates precision-machined components into mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies that meet exacting customer and regulatory requirements. This role demands attention to detail, disciplined documentation, and pride in workmanship. You'll work from engineering drawings, work instructions, and bills of material to deliver assemblies that are right the first time. Key Responsibilities Assemble precision-machined components into mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies per engineering drawings, work instructions, and BOMs Perform fitting, fastening, torquing, bonding, pressing, pinning, and hardware installation to specified requirements Read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T callouts, assembly notes, and torque specifications Use hand tools, torque wrenches (calibrated), arbor presses, and precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, indicators) Perform in-process and final inspections of assemblies; document results per

quality system requirements Complete assembly travelers, build records, and serialization/traceability documentation accurately and completely Identify and segregate nonconforming material; initiate nonconformance reports when required Handle, protect, and package finished assemblies to prevent damage (FOD awareness, ESD practices where applicable) Maintain a clean, organized workstation and support 5S and continuous improvement initiatives Follow all CUI handling and facility security protocols associated with ITAR-controlled work Communicate proactively with team leaders, quality, and machining teams to resolve fit or documentation issues Support kitting, sub-assembly staging, and light mechanical rework as needed Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace, defense, medical device, or motorsports preferred) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including basic GD&T Experience with calibrated torque tools and precision measuring instruments Strong attention to detail and disciplined documentation habits Ability to work from written procedures and follow quality system requirements U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident) required due to ITAR regulations Preferred Qualifications Experience in an AS9100 and/or
ISO 13485
