This position is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of production and fabrication equipment to manufacture parts and components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate a variety of production machinery, including mechanical and hydraulic punch presses, flat presses, laminators, slitters, material cutoff machines, CNC equipment, and ultrasonic welding machines Monitor machine operations to ensure production quality and efficiency Make minor machine adjustments and troubleshoot basic operational issues as needed Perform simple machine setups for punch presses, flat presses, hydraulic presses, and other equipment Complete material cutting, trimming, separating, splitting, and hand-cleaning of parts Assist with non-complex subassembly and final assembly processes Conduct visual and template/gage inspections to ensure products meet quality standards Count, label, package, box, and stack finished products for shipment Maintain accurate production and quality records Follow established safety, quality, and productivity standards at all times Clean and maintain work areas, production floors, machines, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient workspace Dispose of scrap materials and debris properly while maintaining housekeeping standards throughout the facility
Requirements:
Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience required (machine operation, assembly, production, or related experience) High school diploma or GED required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
Schedule & Pay:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30
PM Pay:
$22.00/hour
