Job Description
A growing manufacturing company in Bedford, MA is looking to bring on a Mechanical Assembler. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical or electromechanical experience who is comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, quality-focused, and able to maintain productivity while following established processes and standards.
Shift:
Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pmPay:
$24.00/hourLocation:
Bedford, MA Job Duties:
- Assemble and disassemble mechanical and electromechanical products
- Perform various manufacturing process steps according to established procedures
- Maintain quality and productivity standards
- Route completed products to their designated locations
- Process accurate inventory transactions
- Perform routine inventory cycle counts
- Maintain 5S standards and a clean, organized work area
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures
Requirements:
- Mechanical and electromechanical experience preferred
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and established processes
- Basic inventory and computer skills preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to maintain productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
