Doing:
Responsible for achieving rate and meeting targets Conduct changeovers and setups Inspect parts and machinery for errors Perform all shop functions, packing instructions and labeling requirements Respond to machine faults and downtime, and accurately track Responsible for training Participate in Kaizen events, problem solving teams, and improvement projects Operate a forklift
What You Will Bring:
1 year of manufacturing or Laser Operator experience Understanding of mechanical systems, working knowledge of tools, die changeovers and ability to read blueprints Basic reading, writing and math skills Ability to learn and make transactions in an ERP system like Oracle Ability to efficiently work in a high paced environment Ability to speak, read, write, and understand basic English Manufacturing environment; while performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
