Job Title:
Entry-Level Assembler Job Description This entry-level Assembler role offers an opportunity to build and assemble copper piping and rubber tubing for high-density liquid cooling products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work with hand and power tools, follow blueprints to construct more complex assemblies, and learn new technical skills such as brazing and grinding. This position is ideal for individuals who are eager to start or grow a career in manufacturing, enjoy hands-on work, and can stand for the duration of their shift while working both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Assemble copper piping and rubber tubing for high-density liquid cooling products according to specifications. Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks safely and efficiently. Read and interpret blueprints to build complex cooling system assemblies and mild steel enclosures. Learn and perform brazing on copper piping to ensure secure and high-quality connections. Grind and finish assembled products to meet quality and appearance standards. Work both independently and collaboratively with team members to meet production goals. Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures. Stand for the duration of the shift while performing repetitive and detail-oriented tasks. Support general production activities as needed, including basic packaging and material handling. Essential Skills Experience using hand tools and power tools in a work, school, or personal setting. Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints or mechanical drawings. Capability and willingness to stand throughout the entire shift. Strong desire to enter and grow within the manufacturing industry. Comfort working in a high-speed production environment. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Reliability and strong work ethic in a production setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications 3+ months of assembly experience is a plus. Knowledge or experience working with tools in assembly, production, construction, or general labor is beneficial. Prior experience in mechanical tasks, production line work, or packaging is helpful. Comfort working with copper piping, rubber tubing, and mild steel enclosures after training. Willingness to learn brazing, grinding, and other fabrication-related tasks.. Comfortable working in an environment that is not temperature controlled and may be warm in the summer. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in a very large, fast-paced manufacturing environment that is clean and well-organized but not temperature controlled, so it can become warm during the summer months. Work is high speed but not on a traditional assembly line, offering variety in tasks while still maintaining a strong production focus. You will regularly use hand tools and power tools, work with copper piping, rubber tubing, and mild steel enclosures, and stand for the entire shift. The environment supports hands-on learning and cross-training into other departments over time, with onsite support available if you have questions or need assistance. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Anoka, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $2285.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
