Use hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools to complete mechanical assemblies. Read blueprints, production drawings, and assembly instructions. Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications. Measure parts and assemblies using a tape measure and other basic measuring tools. Move materials and finished products using manual and electric pallet jacks. Complete production documentation accurately. Work closely with team members to solve problems and meet production goals. Cross-train in multiple assembly areas to expand skills and support production needs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. What We're Looking For At least 6 months of work experience in any industry. Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools. Ability to read and follow written instructions. Basic blueprint reading ability preferred. Ability to accurately use a tape measure. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Reliable attendance and solid work ethic. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Experience Mechanical assembly Manufacturing Production Construction Automotive repair Equipment maintenance Any hands-on mechanical role Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift. Stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach regularly throughout the day. Safely operate hand, power, and pneumatic tools. Work Environment This position is located in a modern manufacturing facility where employees work in small team-based assembly pods rather than a traditional assembly line. You'll work alongside 3-4 team members to build complete machines, creating a more engaging and collaborative experience. The facility is well-lit and organized for efficiency and safety. While the production area is not air-conditioned and can become warm during summer months, employees enjoy access to an onsite gym and seasonal refreshments. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
