Mechanical Assembler - Precision Assembly & Quality Focus in Saint Paul, MN!
Mechanical Assembler to build, test, and inspect assemblies that meet strict customer, quality, and regulatory requirements. This hands?on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, following technical documentation, and contributing to high?quality products in a regulated manufacturing environment. Your Role & Impact As an Electro?
Mechanical Assembler, you play a key role in delivering reliable products by assembling and verifying components to exact specifications. Your work directly supports quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction. What You'll Do Day to Day Electro?
Mechanical Assembly Perform assembly operations including wire stripping, tinning, plugging, twisting, hand crimping, and packaging Solder basic assemblies (J?hook and lap joint connections) Operate bench?top equipment and semi?automated crimping presses Read and follow prints, specifications, and process sheets Properly clock into jobs and operations using a computer Rotate between assembly areas as directed by leads or supervisors Inspection, Testing & Repair Inspect assemblies for proper form, fit, and function Use test equipment to verify part quality Identify, report, and sort non?conforming product Perform basic repair and rework as needed Safety, Quality & Communication Follow all safety regulations and identify/report concerns Maintain a clean and organized workstation and production area Communicate job status and quality issues with Supervisors, Leads, and the Quality Team Complete additional tasks as assigned What You Bring Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 1+ year of experience in an assembly or production environment Ability to solder basic connections (J?hook, lap joints) Ability to read and follow prints, work instructions, and process sheets Basic math skills (fractions and decimals) Ability to accurately use rulers and calipers/micrometers Comfort using computers and ERP systems Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications J?STD and/or IPC?A?610 soldering certification Familiarity with ISO 9001 or
