• Machine Assembler
• to join our team and help build high‑quality, custom machinery from the ground up. If you enjoy hands‑on work, solving mechanical challenges, and seeing a project come together from start to finish, this is a great opportunity in a stable, growing shop.
• What You'll Do
• Assembly & Build
• + Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and assembly documents + Assemble, install, and align mechanical and electrical components + Perform mechanical and basic electrical wiring and connections + Fabricate parts as needed using shop equipment (mills, lathes, saws) + Work with welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
• Problem‑Solving & Quality
• + Troubleshoot assembly or performance issues during machine builds + Identify root causes and implement practical solutions + Collaborate with engineering to clarify specifications and improve processes + Ensure machines operate safely, accurately, and meet quality standards
• Tools, Equipment & Safety
• + Use hand tools, power tools, cranes, and specialty assembly equipment + Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely + Follow all safety procedures and wear provided PPE
• What We're Looking For
• Required Skills
• + Proven experience building
• custom machines
• + Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics + Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on troubleshooting skills + Experience with mechanical assembly and basic electrical wiring + Comfortable working in an industrial or manufacturing environment + Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
• Preferred Qualifications
• + 2‑year technical degree (nice to have) + Experience with welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics + Familiarity with mills, lathes, and saws + Forklift experience + High attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM + Safety‑focused, professional, and team‑oriented environment

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN.
• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
