Mechanical Assembler / Machine Builder Aerotek - 3.7 Fairfield, NJ Job Details Full-time $26 - $30 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Mechanical blueprint interpretation Specialized industrial tools Electrical schematic reading and interpretation High school diploma or GED Mechanical drawings Wrenches Power tools Vocational training Hand tools Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description Mechanical Assembler / Machine Builder We're seeking an experienced, hands on Electromechanical Machine Builder to assemble, wire, troubleshoot, test, and install industrial machinery. You'll work from drawings and schematics while performing mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, fitting, alignment, calibration, and equipment testing. Responsibilities Assemble and build industrial machinery from blueprints, schematics, and work instructions Complete mechanical assembly and electrical wiring of motors, controls, and machine components Fit, align, level, adjust, and calibrate equipment Use hand, power, and precision measuring tools Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure quality and proper operation Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues during machine builds Assist with equipment installation, startup, service, and repair at customer locations Train customers on basic equipment operation and maintenance Complete service reports and equipment documentation Essential Skills High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred Experience with mechanical assembling or wiring industrial control panels or similar electrical systems Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts Knowledge of industrial electrical components and standard wiring practices Proficiency with hand and power tools / wrench
Pay:
