An Electro/Mechanical Assembler role is responsible for building electronic components to specifications while ensuring that high quality products are delivered globally to meet VJX's stringent quality and safety standards. Job Description Fabricate complete cable and harness assemblies, via wire selection, cutting, stripping, crimping and tinning of wire per product design specifications, schematics, wire lists and IPC standards Populate and solder electronic assemblies with through-hole and surface-mount components Populating and soldering PCB's Support engineering team in building electronic and mechanical prototypes and test fixtures Work from schematics and other engineering documentation Follow all VJX and OSHA workplace safety requirements and policies Safety Sensitive Position Essential Skills High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of two (2) years of similar experience in a technical environment Understanding of ESD practices Ability to identify electronic components Proficiency in cutting, stripping, tinning, and crimping cable and harness Knowledge of circuit boards, soldering and electronics Prior experience soldering through-hole and SMT components Ability to read and work from electrical prints, schematics and wiring diagrams Ability to use a multi-meter to troubleshoot AC/DC circuits Basic computer skills Ability to work as part of a team and independently Non-Essential Skills Formal electronics or
