  Machine Building Mechanical Technician
• Job Description
• We are looking for a skilled Machine Building Mechanical Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for building, repairing, and maintaining machinery by interpreting mechanical assembly drawings, blueprints, and instructions. This role requires hands-on experience with various tools and a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Responsibilities
• + Read and interpret instructions, mechanical assembly drawings, and blueprints to build machinery.

+ Repair defective parts on machinery and rebuild components as needed. + Use tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and other instrumentation for accurate measurements. + Fabricate parts using machine shop equipment and instrumentation. + Perform mechanical assembly and disassembly of machinery components. + Lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Essential Skills
• + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints or mechanical drawings. + Experience with tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools. + Experience in repairing or building industrial machinery and equipment. + Experience with electrical wiring and control panel wiring. + Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• + Experience in building machinery, preferably CNC equipment. + Formal training in mechanical assembly or machining.

• Work Environment
• You will work in a production facility equipped with over 150 EDM machines, with most areas being temperature controlled. The role involves working in confined spaces and requires the ability to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level may be loud, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.

• This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, OH.
• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
