Job Type:
Full-Time Job Summary We are hiring a dependable Metal Fabricator / CNC Machinery Operator to join our manufacturing and fabrication team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on metalworking experience who wants to develop their skills operating CNC equipment. You will operate CNC fabrication machinery, including plasma tables, bandsaws, and press brakes, while producing steel components according to blueprints, drawings, and production specifications. Welding experience is a plus, but not required. Responsibilities Operate CNC plasma cutting equipment to accurately cut steel materials. Operate CNC bandsaws to cut structural steel and other metal products. Set up and operate CNC press brake equipment to bend and form metal components. Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, work orders, and production instructions. Measure materials and finished parts using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring tools. Inspect completed parts for accuracy, quality, and proper dimensions. Load, unload, and move steel and other materials safely. Use forklifts and other material-handling equipment as needed. Perform basic machine maintenance and report equipment issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE. Work with the production team to meet quality and production goals. Assist with general metal fabrication duties as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in metal fabrication, manufacturing, machining, or a related field preferred. Ability to read and understand blueprints or fabrication drawings. Ability to accurately read a tape measure and use basic measuring tools. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Willingness to learn and operate CNC machinery. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications CNC plasma table experience. CNC bandsaw experience. CNC press brake experience. Structural steel fabrication experience. MIG or TIG welding experience. Forklift experience. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods. Frequently bend, stoop, reach, and lift. Safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Work around machinery, steel materials, and other industrial equipment. Work in varying shop temperatures and conditions. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). IND2
