Product Assembler /
Machine Assembler Pay:
$28.00-$30.00 per hour
Shift:
1st Shift Job Description We are seeking a mechanically skilled Product Assembler / Machine Assembler to build hydraulic power units and related equipment from start to finish. This is a hands-on, labor-intensive assembly position requiring strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work from blueprints and work instructions. The assembler will take all components included in an order and build the complete unit according to specifications. Responsibilities Assemble hydraulic power units and related mechanical equipment from start to finish Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, bills of material, and assembly specifications Select and assemble the correct components for each customer order Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment throughout the assembly process Use calipers and other precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and proper fit Perform mechanical fitting, fastening, mounting, and component installation Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality and engineering specifications Troubleshoot fit, alignment, and assembly issues as needed Communicate with Engineering, Production, Quality, Shipping, and other departments to resolve questions or issues Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on mechanical ability Previous machine assembly, equipment assembly, hydraulic, automotive, industrial maintenance, or similar mechanical experience preferred Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical work instructions Comfortable using calipers, measuring tools, hand tools, and power tools Ability to identify components and understand how mechanical parts fit and function together Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to perform physically demanding and labor-intensive assembly work Good communication skills and ability to work across departments Dependable, team-oriented, and able to work independently when needed Why Join This Company This company offers an excellent long-term opportunity with very low employee turnover and a strong benefits package.
