Electro-Mechanical Assembler - Immediate Opening A manufacturer in Horsham, PA, is seeking a skilled, hands-on Electro-Mechanical Assembler to support the assembly, test, and production of precision electro-mechanical devices. In this role, you'll fabricate wire harnesses, install circuit board components, and build mechanical systems to exact engineering specifications — playing a key part in delivering reliable, high-quality products. Electro-Mechanical Assembler:
1st shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Pay Rate of the
Electro-Mechanical Assembler:
$23.00 - $30.00 per hour. Responsibilities of the
Electro-Mechanical Assembler:
Read, understand, and follow engineering assembly drawings, bills of materials, manufacturing procedures, work instructions, and supporting documentation. Fabricate wire harnesses using wire splicing, crimping, Molex and Amp connector installation, and soldering across a range of connectors and cable types. Assemble and calibrate electro-mechanical products. Assemble and test various mechanical systems using standard electronic test equipment. Perform electrical parameter checks on the final assembly of electro-mechanical products. Operate hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment, and light equipment. Monitor the needs and metrics of assigned areas and recommend improvements. Recommend design changes on documents where they apply to the actual wiring and mechanical build of the chassis. Observe safety and security procedures, report potentially unsafe conditions, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Perform all work in line with quality standards and established safety procedures. Complete other duties as assigned. Qualifications of the
Electro-Mechanical Assembler:
High school diploma required. Associate degree or higher in Electronic Technology or related coursework preferred. Up to 5 years of experience in a technical and/or assembly environment. Basic experience with hand and power tools, including cutters, strippers, and crimpers, plus strong mechanical aptitude. Soldering to
J-STD-001
standards preferred. Familiarity with and the ability to operate standard electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters, and frequency generators preferred. Familiarity with Military/DoD work and basic electronic experience preferred. Willingness to wear ESD grounding shoes and/or a wrist strap while working inside the assembly facility. Ability to occasionally lift units up to 50 lbs and to stand, walk, and perform repetitious work for extended periods. Effective communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to suggest changes and make recommendations. Electro-Mechanical Assemblers Apply Today!
