40.0; 1st, 2nd, 3rd Shifts Responsibilities Cross-trained to fill in for or support various hourly roles using general mechanical and electrical skills, including assembly, painting, washing, welding operations, shipping/receiving, product testing, and storeroom duties. Operates a range of equipment including band saws, plasma cutters, gas cutting tools, welders, magnetic drills, grinders, drill presses, cranes, hydraulic circuit testers, multimeters, strobe lights, hand tools, a hydraulic hose crimping machine, a welding robot, and micrometers. Assembles and tests finished products, performing repairs and calibration as needed. Follows work orders, bills of material, engineering designs, electrical and hydraulic schematics, and applicable specifications. Documents test results and any non-standard as-built features. Partners with Engineering on prototype development. Performs additional tasks as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or GED required. 3+ years of manufacturing experience involving basic welding, electrical, and mechanical skills preferred. Basic hydraulic and electrical skills in a manufacturing setting required. Ability to read blueprints required. Fluid power industry or manufacturing experience preferred.
