Job Description
Electro-Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling machinery. Our work provides diverse experiences that strengthen and challenge creativity, assertiveness, quick thinking, and a general love for learning that provides personal and professional development.
Responsibilities:
Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, sub-assemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools. Connect cables, tubes, and wiring, according to specifications Position, align, and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements Verify conformance of parts to stock lists or blueprints, using measuring instruments, such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers Maintain quality, precision, and safety by checking own work and paying attention to detail, with a clear understanding of customer requirements Complete required paperwork in a timely manner including marking up prints with corrections Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. Plans sequence of operation Dismantles and moves machines and equipment. Aligns machines and equipment. Assembles machines, and bolts, welds, rivets, or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures. Positions and clamps work pieces together or assemble them in jig or fixture. Ensures all safety policies are followed at all times.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work overtime, off shifts and weekends as needed. Must be able to bend, twist, squat continuously. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, Must be able to identify material types and thickness as associated to work orders. Ability to read blueprints is preferred but not required. Must maintain a valid driver's license.Job Type:
