Pay Range:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Position Summary We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Assembly Technician to build, assemble, and support complex industrial machinery used in high-tech manufacturing environments. This role involves assembling precision mechanical systems, supporting machine start-up, and performing troubleshooting and maintenance both onsite and at customer locations. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, global service environment. Key Responsibilities Assemble complex mechanical components according to technical drawings and specifications Support the installation, setup, and initial start-up of new machinery Read and interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics to ensure proper system functionality Use hand and power tools safely and effectively at all times Perform mechanical troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance Conduct system performance adjustments and machine optimization ("type integrations" and tuning) Support equipment recovery and downtime reduction efforts at customer sites Travel internationally to customer facilities for installations, service, and repairs Communicate regularly with U.S. technical leadership and team leads regarding project status and issues Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and system performance updates Required Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or machine building (preferred) Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and engineering drawings Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine systems and part interaction Skilled with hand tools and power tools Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance standards Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) High School Diploma or equivalent required Preferred Qualifications Experience in mechatronics, mechanical assembly, or industrial equipment service Technical certification or degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field Experience working in industrial, automation, or OEM environments Prior field service or customer-facing technical experience Work Environment & Benefits Fully onsite role in Rock Hill, SC International travel required (up to 12 weeks per year) Competitive hourly compensation Comprehensive training provided Health insurance package and 401(k) with company match (after 2-month probation period) Paid vacation and additional company benefits Career development and advancement opportunities within a global industrial organization Company Description All About Personnel was founded with the goal of providing high quality management consulting, and staffing services to small, medium, and large sized companies.
